The ‘Get Your Shit Together’ crew from the Netherlands and Austria did a road trip from Cape Town to Durban along the east coast, and then ended up inland in Johannesburg. The resulting documentary ‘Wheels of Change’ documents their experiences as they went.
Chapter 1 in Cape Town. The GYST team visits a shelter for street children in Khayelitsha, one of the biggest townships in South Africa. In Chapter 2, GYST follow the Indigo Youth movement and visit the Indigo Skate camp: a remote skatepark in the middle of a Zulu village in the Valley of a Thousand Hills, KwaZulu-Natal. Learn how skateboarding serves as a social tool for change and education.
In Chapter 3 the GYST Team meets up with the King’s Beach Skateboarding crew to catch a taste of the Port Elizabeth Skateboarding Culture. Big tricks, big bails, and competition at any level is what defines this great culture in the Windy City!
