The Vans ‘Go Skateboarding Day’ event for 2019 went down at Mill Street Park in Cape Town, supported by Baseline Skate Shop and Session. Despite rain and wind, there was a good turn out and plenty of bangers went down! Cash for tricks jams, a highest ollie contest, free food and a bunch of giveaways, it was good times all round. To add to that, Vans also got the rail at the park fixed, which had been broken for a couple weeks, and they made some DIY additions to the park in the form of a new bank down the stairs, to create some new lines.
