The Copenhagen Open is widely regarded as the best annual skate event in the world. Why? Because it’s not just a contest at a skatepark. It’s an almost week long skate festival with different events taking place across the Danish capital. Street spots, fun challenges, skateparks and bowl events, it’s all in there!
The best Pros in the world hang around for the week, and everyone cruises arounds on boards and bikes, parties together and on one of the days we even cruised from spot to spot by boat.
Huge thanks to Monster Energy for hooking us up with accommodation at CPH this year, we had a heavy SA contingent and we’re already planning to go back next year. This is one skate event you have to experience if you ever get the chance.
Here is a brief recap of CPH Open 2016! The Champagne of skateboarding.
