Home, there’s no place like it. In 2020 we all have to stay home, but no matter where you live, the scene in your hometown is what you make of it. Iviwe Yekani, Jonathan Jomba, Allan Adams, Chris Nderitu and Justus Kotze are 5 skateboarders who are at home in the City of Cape Town.
Skateboarding on a daily basis isn’t all about contest circuits, exotic tours, untouched spots and NBDs. It’s about skating the parks that you and your friends complain about but still always go to, it’s bombing a hill, it’s sessioning the same old downtown plaza time and again, and it’s messing around at a random slappy curb in an empty parking lot. That’s home!
