DC Shoes Africa presents the Halloween Jam, in association with Old School Productions, Red Bull and Von Zipper.
On the 31st October at Puddy’s backyard miniramp (toted as the best backyard ramp in SA) and being a Halloween themed dress-up party, it’s set to be a wild event.
This year sees some minor changes to the contest format and event schedule:
3:00pm – open practice session
4:00pm – Wildcard jam
– 4 riders from the wildcard jam will be selected to compete in the main event where they will join the 12 pre-seeded competitors.
6:00pm – The main event will start
– 12 pre-seeded skaters will be joined by the 4 wildcards .
– 4x 15min 4-man jams – best 2 skaters from each jam proceed to next round
9:00pm – Final Jam
9:30pm – Best trick contest
There’s over R15 000 in prize money up for grabs for the skate contest, as well as some ‘Trick or treat’ prizes for the best costumes of the night – so be sure to start on your costume early.
Pre-seeded riders will be announced over the course of the next week.
Food & drinks will be available for purchase at the event.
