A lot of difficulties are overcome behind-the-scenes in order to capture each and every photo you see on the pages of Session Magazine. A series of Sam Clark’s photos in Issue 58 provide an example of what Kanya Spani had to deal with just to shoot a front blunt on a suburban ledge on the streets of Cape Town. This clip shows you more about the interference he dealt with. Khulu Dlamini came to Kanya’s assistance by challenging his opponent to a traditional african dual but in the end all it took was a few bucks and the homies managed to walk away smiling. Often the most difficult aspect of getting a photo is just being able to actually ride your board.
