Video:
1minute video is to be filmed using Street, Park, Bowl.
Video with the most votes will be the winner
Vert parts will not be voted on.
The edit will also be judged and the best filmer/editor will also be in the running for a prize.

Rules and Regulations
No purchase necessary to enter or win. Internet access and valid e-mail address required.
This contest is sponsored by Volcom SAS. (“Volcom Stone” and/or “Sponsor”) located at 218 Stamfordhill Rd, Durban, South Africa. The Volcom WITP Video Contest (“Contest”) is operated through the Session Web Site located currently located at www.sessionmag.co.za/volcomwitp2015 (“Website”). BY ENTERING OR OTHERWISE PARTICIPATING IN THE CONTEST, ALL ENTRANTS AND OTHER PARTICIPANTS AGREE TO ABIDE BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHICH ARE FINAL AND BINDING ON ALL MATTERS PERTAINING TO THIS CONTEST.
The Contest is open to individuals from South Africa. Registration is free. To enter the Contest, Entrant may register by following the entry page on the Session site. During the registration process, Entrant will be asked to provide his or her name, physical address, email address, birth date, gender, social media pages, country. Entrant will also be asked to consent to receive promotional emails. Consenting to receive promotional emails is optional and does not have to be agreed to in order to register or to win a prize.
Entrants are responsible for insuring that all contact information is up-to-date and accurate. Sponsor is not liable for any disputes between collaborators arising under or related to the Contest. Employees of Volcom RSA, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, agents, and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Contest in any manner except as otherwise expressly provided herein (e.g., as non-Entrant individuals judging Entries during specific stages of the Contest) or to win any prize. Misrepresentation of age, upon discovery by Sponsor will disqualify the applicable Entrant(s). Sponsor reserves the right, at any time and in its sole discretion, to refuse to allow any individual to participate or continue to participate in the Contest, or to disqualify any individual it suspects to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or the Website, to be in violation of any terms and conditions governing the use of the Website (“Terms of Use”) or any privacy policy governing the submission of information through the Website (“Privacy Policy”); to be in violation of these Official Rules; to be acting in bad faith, or in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner; or to be annoying, abusing, threatening, or harassing any other person. ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR TAMPER WITH OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES AS WELL AS CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO, DISQUALIFY THE ENTRANT AND SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES FROM ANY RESPONSIBLE PARTICIPANT(S) TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
Entrants knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, and therefore assume full responsibility for their participation with the contest.
Entrants acknowledge that Volcom does not provide accident, medical, liability, worker’s compensation insurance or any other insurance for participants.
Contest description:
Volcom WITParts VIDEO CONTEST is a skateboarding competition in which Entrants will showcase their best maneuver “tricks” in their local skate park or streets.
Entrants have to be the skateboarders themselves submitting their action.
Entrants will compete by submitting a 1 minute clip of their best skateboarding.
Trick videos must be submitted as soon as possible in order to get the most views, likes and feedback from viewers.
One video per skater to be submitted.
Skateboarders must be experienced and ride within their abilities.
Contest Start and End times:
The contest begins on July 20, 2015 at 7:00 a.m. and ends on September 9, 2015 at 11:59 a.m. (“End Date”) (“Contest Period”).
During the Contest Period, all Entrants must register online through the Session website www.sessionmag.co.za/volcomwitp2015 and follow the instructions to enter the Contest. Submissions will not be considered unless skateboarders have registered.
Videos and content will be referred to as a submission (“Submission”).
By uploading a Submission, all Entrant who created the Submission, agree that the Submission conforms to the Video Guidelines and Content Restrictions as defined below (collectively, the “Guidelines and Restrictions”) and that Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may remove your Submission and disqualify you from the Contest if it believes, in its sole discretion, that your Submission fails to conform to the Guidelines and Restrictions
VIDEO GUIDELINES:
• The video entries have to be posted on Youtube or Vimeo.
• The video must be submitted including all available frames of the start and end of the trick and without any embedded bugs or video cuts. The submission must include the beginning of the trick (run in) and the landing (ride out).
• All images/video deemed worthy of consideration will be displayed on the WITP website and official social networking or content sharing channels or pages on YouTube or Facebook, etc.
• In order to get the most views, votes and feedback from other members, trick videos must be submitted as soon as possible.
• Submissions to the Volcom WITP video contest must not exceed 60 seconds in length.
• Submissions of tricks can be performed before the contest period.
• Any skateboarder may request that a Submission featuring him be removed from the site at any time, at which point, that Submission becomes automatically disqualified
• Angles and Clarity: Preference will be given to high-definition video clips that are shot from those angles that minimize distortion of a jump true height and maintain continuity for the longest portion of the ride and provide evidence of the landing and ride’s successful completion. Action that is not clearly visible due to loss of focus, haze, darkness or other visual interference cannot be fully considered.
• Submissions must comply with all Content Restrictions listed below;
• The Submission cannot have been submitted previously in a promotion of any kind or exhibited or displayed publicly through any means.
MUST NOT CONTAIN:
• Nudity, lewd or vulgar behavior;
• Material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights;
• Images and/or artwork that are copyrighted, trademarked, protected by trade secret or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless you are the owner of such rights or have permission from their rightful owner to post the material;
• Gratuitous violence;
• Dangerous stunts;
• Real weapons of any kind, including, but not limited to, guns, knives or projectiles;
• Drug use;
• Smoking;
• Material that is hateful, tortuous, defamatory, slanderous or libelous;
• Material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, age or any other basis protected by Federal, State, or Local Law, Ordinance, or Regulation;
• Material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state where the Submission is created;
• Anything disparaging about Sponsor or any other person or party affiliated with the Contest; and
• Any unsportsmanlike conduct, extraordinarily dangerous acts, or reckless acts.
Uploading a Submission constitutes consent of Entrants to give Sponsor a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, create derivative works from, and display such submissions in whole or in part, on a worldwide basis, and to incorporate it into other works, in any form, media or technology now known or later developed, including for promotional or marketing purposes. If requested, Entrants will be required to sign any documentation necessary for Sponsor or its designees to make use of the non-exclusive rights entrant is granting to use the Submission. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, stolen, damaged, incomplete, invalid, un-intelligible, garbled, delayed or misdirected Submissions; all of which will be void.
Judging And Event Procedures

Every submission from the start of the contest window until September 10th 2015 can be voted for by peers.

*Please note that we reserve the right to admit videos based upon the level of skating within each video. The winner will be representing South Africa and as such, the level of skateboarding within the video needs to be appropriate.
