WIN ETNIES FOR A YEAR. etnies Presents, Casting Call – An etnies Transmission. Curated by Baseline skate shop at 16:00 on Wednesday 18th February 2015 Mill Street Skatepark, Cape Town. An event aimed at bringing young South African skateboarders together to create a street skateboarding edit that can be presented on a global platform. The Brief: ‘Auditions’ will take place at Mill Street Skatepark on Wednesday 18th February 2015. The formula will be a traditional ‘skate comp’ whereby entrants will each have only a few minutes to make their mark and impress the international casting panel – Albert Nyberg, Barney Page and Axel Cruysberghs. Six successful skateboarders will be compiled to go through to the final casting on the weekend of Feb 20th where they will feature in an etnies edit filmed on location in Cape Town over the course of two days.
